Welcome to “A Day in the Life of: Scott Coulter.” On any given day Scott is the go-to I.T. guy, footage archivist, editing up-and-comer and lone Seattle Mariners fan at Windsong Productions. Scott is an aspiring director and has made some pretty awesome short films for The Germ. So, here is your exclusive look into a day in the life of Sir Scotty Coulter:
Scotty begins his day at 7:15 a.m. with a full inbox.
He then gets ready by brushing his teeth with an expensive tube of toothpaste, puts his shoes on and hits the road.
Scotty lives dangerously by Fast and the Furious drifting at turns on his way to the office.
He makes it to work in one piece, parks and makes a grand entrance through Windsong’s backdoor.
Scotty’s day begins by labeling, reviewing backup footage and checking the server room.
And sometimes the occasionally printer jam.
Scotty is also the go to guy for setting up and tearing down in-studio shoots.
Then, Scotty breaks for lunch and refuels at the always delicious In-N-Out.
While Scott is out for lunch. His assistant watches over the footage backups.
This is his assistant, Bane. Scotty had a choice. Human or toy. He went with a toy. Smart move, Scotty. Smart.
It’s almost the end of the day. Scotty helps prepare the footage for editing and then meets with our lead editor, Tony!
It’s 5 p.m. Scotty finishes his work day and leaves with a bang.
