If there’s something about Kyle that astounds us all, it’s that the man has an uncanny ability to bring stories to life on screen. He has an indispensable eye for video production and can turn any project into something incredibly special. Around the office, Kyle’s ironic humor keeps us all on our toes, but whatever you do- don’t block him from the coffee.
1. He did not learn how to read until the 5th Grade. But don’t worry, he’s got his reading skills down pat.
2. He chose his own first and middle names at two-days-old by pointing to them on a list of names set up by his parents. Good thing he wasn’t distracted by a bird. Bird Banana Pudding Gentz somehow doesn’t seem to fit.
3. He capitalizes random letters and words in his handwriting. KiNd oF LiKe ThiS!
4. Domestication Nation: Kyle knows how to use a Serger sewing machine.
5. He grew up attending Fresno Christian schools.
6. He worked in construction management and estimation for three long years before realizing his true passion was back in video production.
7. HULK SMASH! Kyle set his school squat record as a junior in 2003 at 780 lbs!
8. He really enjoys shooting guns. Like really. But not in a weird way.
9. On the off chance that Kyle gets a break between family time and work, he rides his beautiful 660cc Yamaha Raptor.
10. He is somewhat of a handyman and is continually remodeling his house. Like Bob Villa but without the camera crews following him around.
11. He had a film accepted into the 2011 Cannes Film Festival where he was credited as Director of Photography.
12. His first vehicle was a 1980 CJ Jeep that he and his dad restored.
13. Long time friends. He first met our creative director, Byron, over 13 years ago at Valley Christian Center.
