Our leader and creative director, Byron Watkins, is a man of mystery. Few have plumbed the murky depths of the visionary psyche that drives Windsong Productions. In an effort to shed some light into this abyss, we present 14 Facts You Didn’t Know about him.
1. Byron’s favorite actor is John Goodman.
2. In seventh grade, he won a hotdog eating contest (23 ‘dogs in 5 minutes).
3. He’s allergic to peanuts.
4. As a child, he had a pet rattlesnake.
5. He’s never seen Citizen Kane.
6. He likes bikes.
7. Only six people on Earth know his middle name. (It’s Bartleby.)
8. He’s allergic to donuts.
9. He only wears slip-on or velcro shoes. He knows how to tie shoelaces, but says they’re “a waste of time.”
10. He collects antique lawn ornaments of all kinds, except lawn gnomes. Those things creep him out.
11. He spent one summer in his early 20s chasing tornados in Oklahoma with a Norwegian bounty hunter named Jørgen.
12. “Tornados” are what Byron calls McDonald’s Egg McMuffins.
13. He’s not entirely sure “Jørgen” was that bounty hunter’s real name.
14. Byron was dragging his feet on providing us with these facts, so we made up most of them.
