Seven years. Windsong Productions has been around for seven years. As you can see, we had a party to celebrate. It was a good time.
In the grand scheme of things, seven years isn’t very long. Humans, for instance, have been on the planet for almost twelve times that duration. But for a business, a lot can happen in seven years.
When we started, we were a ragtag group of misfits and ne’er-do-wells who just wanted to make videos. Now, we’re a well-oiled machine of misfits and ne’er-do-wells who just want to make videos. We’ve learned a lot along the way. We’ve worked with local, regional, and national clients. We’ve produced TV commercials, web videos, and feature-length documentaries. We bought a building and have grown to include however many employees we have now.
Most important of all, we’ve discovered the true meaning of friendship, like George Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life. Some people might think that George Bailey discovered the true meaning of Christmas, but they’d be wrong. Clearly they weren’t paying attention to the movie. Or maybe they just forgot. In any case, friendship. That’s what it’s all about.
Seven years. Windsong Productions has been around for seven years. One thing is for sure: we’ve barely scratched the surface. And we’re just itchin’ to find out what’s next.
