How does the stuff you buy get to the store from where it’s made? It’s called goods movement, and it’s happening all the time. Boats, trains, trucks… Goods are moving, baby! And they need infrastructure to get where they’re going—to get to you. The Southern California Association of Governments needed a video explaining the importance of goods movement to a general audience. SCAG is responsible for the infrastructure needed for goods movement in Southern California.
We created a quirky video to explain goods movement in just a few minutes.
Using a funny spokesperson, we were able to move the video along at a brisk pace, combining some humor with the information. We filmed in a variety of locations, using a variety of conveyances, including a truck and a boat. There are countless pieces to the goods movement puzzle; we feel we were able to present a compelling picture based on the pieces we had.
