Driving around recently, I found that beyond the torrential downpour and sea of slow drivers there were two things that caught my attention: the smudges left by my not-so-brand-new windshield wipers and the number of members of our community who are in need of a little something extra this season. I was getting dressed for work this morning and took the typical woman’s stance on my closet situation: “so many clothes and nothing to wear.” I realized at that moment, if I took a little time and gathered what I could spare from my wardrobe, some people in need could also have the warmth I feel during this rainy season.
After speaking to the crew, we decided to help give the gift of warmth to those who need it most. Windsong Productions has placed a bin in the studio to gather blankets, coats, scarves or any warm clothing. We will be donating our new or gently used garments on Friday, December 21, to a local charity. After all, it is the season of giving.
