13 Facts You Didn’t Know About Tony Bennett

If there’s at least one thing you should know about Windsong Productions, it’s that Tony Bennett works here. Yes. Here, in Fresno. Well, not Tony Bennett, the singer, but Tony Bennett, the editor.

Tony is our lead editor and an incredibly gifted storyteller. His ability to take individual clips and string them together into something greater than its individual parts is one of Windsong’s greatest assets. Those that are lucky enough to spend their day with Tony know that he is a man of a few words, but also a man of many talents and statistics. In fact, Tony is our real-time ESPN news center and resident marshmallow gun enthusiast.

Pretty cool, right? Well, here are 13 more facts about our favorite editor and crooner.

2. He started on radio by doing a bad imitation of Mr. Rogers.

3. He accidentally biked down a flight of stairs.

4. He once shot a man just for snoring too loud. Okay…it was dirty socks thrown at his brother, but he was snoring…loudly.

9. He once convinced a fellow dorm-mate to don a Speedo and run back and forth along a fairly busy street, just so he could shoot bottle rockets at him from a third story window.

10. He once caught a shark while fishing off the San Diego coast.

11. He learned to drive in a 1972 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. (Try parallel parking in a 2.5 ton, 19 ft. vehicle)

12. He grew up in the only county in Minnesota (land of 10,000 lakes) in which there is no natural lake.

13. He is a big fan of game shows.
